|  2006 Incognito
Red Wine
The first of the Incognito
brands to join the
Michael~David
Masquerade was our Viognier. But who would the white mask pair with at a
party?
The Incognito Rouge was produced to create another enticing mystery for
the
consumer. Our Rouge blend changes every vintage using very mysterious
Rhone style
varietals. Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan are regulars to the bottles
enticement, but this year's masquerade includes two new varietals,
Malbec and Grenache
both of which bring an extra layer of complexity to the blend. The only
thing
you can be sure of is that the contents in this bottle will please your
palate.
It's a soft
and silky wine with flavors of clove,
blackberry, cherry and currant; long smoky finish with good tannins. The 2006
Incognito, their Rhone Ranger-style
blend, is their
effort to turn out a delicious, supple-textured California version of a
Cotes
du Rhone from France. Black fruits, pepper, earth, and hints of olive
and spice
box are all present in this complex wine, which displays considerable
character
and personality.

 2009 Sileni Cellar Sauvignon Blanc
The Cellar Sauvignon Blanc has ripe tropical and gooseberry
fruit flavours with a zingy finish and impeccable balance. A great
aperitif or seafood wine made for drinking young. Serve lightly chilled.

 2007 Victory Vineyards Parcel Thirty One
Zinfandel
The grapes for our Parcel 31
Zinfandel were chosen from
3 different appellations to showcase the varying complexity
and flavor characteristics unique to each area. All of the fruit
was sourced from old vines, which we believe adds a depth of
complexity not found in younger vineyards.
All vineyard lots were kept separated and each was fermented
and aged separately. Cooperage was varied based upon vineyard
site and appellation. Two months prior to bottling the wines
were re-evaluated and blended.
The 2007 Parcel 31 Zinfandel is the quintessential Zinfandel.
It offers an explosive bouquet of blackberries, currants, crushed
rocks and is backed up by enormous body, great purity and
tremendous concentration. Layer upon layer of blackberry and
raspberry coat the palate. This wine is drinking fabulously now
and will only improve with age.

Pinot Blanc
Seafood, fish, white meats, roasted
poultry, tarts, flans, omelets and
soft cheeses.
Tasting
commentary
Of pale
yellow color,
with greenish hues, it is endowed with a fine and fruity nose, to the
flavoring of berry fruits (cherry plum). In mouth, the attack is ample,
fruity; of a beautiful structure, it presents a beautiful length, and
grades of acacia. The final notes are harmonious.
