Fred Cline spent childhood summers visiting his grandparents in Oakley,
CA.. This farming community sparked Fred's interest in winemaking. In
1982, Fred started a winery in Oakley. In 1991, he and his wife Nancy
relocated their winery to a 350 acres estate in Carneros (Sonoma). Fred
started to experiment with Rhone varietals in this location. The
Cashmere is sourced from Sonoma and Oakley. ""Grapey, with lively
