This is a fantastic wine. For those of you who think Italian wines are
too bitter, this one will prove you wrong. For the rest of you who
think super Tuscans are kind of too homogenized or lack a sense of
place, this will prove you wrong. Lots of red cherry with a little bit
of leather in the aromas, medium bodied but lively. Really great stuff.

Medium red.
Sweet, captivating red cherry aroma complicated by floral red berries
and a touch of grass. Very refreshing though not particularly complex
on the palate, where a burst of ripe, juicy red cherry fruit is joined
by cedar and tobacco. The fairly long finish boasts a very smooth
texture. 90 points
