Domaine
Serge Laloue has been a family winery for generations. Brothers Serge
and Frank run the Domaine today, which comprises 18 hectares of vines.
The brothers use modern winemaking facilities, while being careful to
maintain time-tested traditions as well. The Sauvignon Blancs are hand
harvested, and stainless-steel fermented to accent the “terroir” of the
vineyards. This is especially evident in the Cuvee Silex, which comes
from the “silex” soils of the area, and results in a fuller, richer,
more viscous wine, while the regular bottling from the Kimmeridigan
soils is more lean, racy, and herbaceous.
No mistaking the grape variety, for this wine shouts Sauvignon. Vibrant, fragrant and positive.
