Jill and Brian O’Donnell operate this 70 acre property (16 acres under vine) in Willamette Valley, Oregon (Yamhill-Carlton District). The emphasis is on gentle, natural winemaking. To that end, organic and biodynamic farming practices are used, grapes are hand sorted and winemaking occurs in a three story gravity flow facility. The grapes for this wine are primarily from the Belle Pente, Whistling Ridge and Walker vineyards. “All of these are planted on sedimentary formations, with soils that impart a distinct minerality that underlies the ripe apple, pear, and peach flavors and aromas. Enjoy this classic Alsatian-style Oregon Pinot Gris now and over the next year or two with just about anything!” Winemaker notes. 668 cases produced. |
