Oyster Bay is located in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley at the northeast corner of New Zealand’s South Island. Bordeaux clones are used in the central Wairau, Renwick and Brancott vineyards which have rocky, sandy soil. The grapes are hand harvested. Each vineyard block/clone is treated separately until the final blending. This wine is cold settled and stainless steel fermented to preserve the fresh flavors. ""Tart and tangy, with very good intensity to grass, grapefruit and green apple flavors. Drink now."" Wine Spectator Rated 86 |
