displaying scents of lemon oil and other citrus in a light to
medium-bodied style. It offers outstanding flexibility with food, and is
best drunk over the next year.

Honig Vineyards was started by Louis Honig in 1964. The 68 acre ranch was planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit was sold to neighboring winemakers. The winemaking enterprise started in 1981 with Louis' children and grandchildren making a Sauvignon Blanc in the tractor barn as a tribute to Louis. ""Here's a nice cocktail-style wine that pleases for its dryness and crispness. It's basically a simple quaffer, with no oak at all, and rewards for fresh, ripe pineapple, Meyer lemon, fig and date flavors. Try with your best homemade Ahi tuna tartare.
