Winemakers Giovanni C. Sacchet and Antonio M. Zaccheo founded Carpineto in 1967 with the goal of producing great wines in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico region. The grapes for this wine come from 20 acres of Sangiovese and Canaiolo vineyards in Dudda, Greve about 1,000 above sea level on the eastern edge of Chianti Classico. “Broad and fresh; the characteristic fruity aromas of the bouquet come through with complexity and end with a clean finish.” Winery Notes. |
