Joe Dobbes brings 20 years of Oregon wine making experience (including being the winemaker at Willamette Valley Vineyards) to his own labels. The estate, one of Oregon’s largest, has 214 acres (189 under vine) in Willamette Valley’s Eola Hills/Amity AVA. Pommard and Wadenwille Pinot Noir clones were planted in 1988. In total, 80 acres are planted to Pinot Noir. “Spicy, with distinctive cinnamon and clove notes around the wispy core of plum fruit. Finishes a bit short, but what's there is nice. Drink now. 8,596 cases made” Wine Spectator rated 86 |
