The Gelin Estate, established in 1925, remains a family business. It is comprised of 12 hectares in Gevrey Chambertin and Fixin. This wine is produced from a roughly 2 hectare plot of 50 year old Pinot Noir vines. The fruit is hand selected and the wine is oak aged for 20 months. It has spicy ripe cherry flavors and a lengthy finish. Wine Spectator rated 85. |
