In 1994, Leon Karatsolas and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos partnered to form
G’aia Wnes in Santorini. They built another winery to focus on the
Agiorgitiko grape in Koutsi, Upper Nemea in 1997. Whether Red or Rosé,
wines made from Agiorgitiko grapes have prominent fruit characteristics
and relatively low acidity. The 14-18H rosé is named after the amount
of hours the skins stay in contact with the must. This wine is
full-bodied with characteristic ripe cherry aromas and flavors and
relatively low acidity. |
